Hebrews 9:14 "how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?"
it's not just talking about forgiveness for sin here. (as if that weren't enough.) it actually says my conscience can be cleansed, made clear again.
i know God doesn't hold my sin against me. but i know what i've done. my humanity, in various aspects, keeps me at a level below that which God wants me to exist.
here's to living out the promise of this verse.
