since my surprise birthday party. my roommate went all out and had people waiting at our house when we came home from a false start in going to church thursday night. (we did get our jimmy john's fix ...) i really appreciated all the people who came. it was fun! oh, and i'm really struggling to pick a favorite gift this year. iTunes gift card, sbux gift card, 'Walk the Line' dvd, "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" dvd, Jack Johnson's "Curious George" soundtrack ... could it get any better?
in the youth ministry, we're observing the lenten season and working through the aspects of 'taking off,' 'putting on' and celebration. it's exciting to see the kids so excited about it. through the season, know that YOU are being thought about and prayed for consistently. hope to hear from you soon.
