Have you ever ...

... NOT said something that you wanted to? quite often, i find that you learn much more from holding your tongue (even when it's not necessarily an issue of propriety) than what others might learn from your presumed imparting of wisdom. lessons in humility, discernment and a more worthy agenda come to mind, from tonight in particular.

i have a list of things to accomplish before summer.

murderball
crash
munich
millions
capote
dear frankie
mad hot ballroom
corpse bride
lady & the tramp

i know. i am ashamed. i was so sure i was going to be able to cross off 'millions' tonight, but it didn't happen. instead, i spent two hours dreaming of something that might never happen but keeps hope alive even in its minimal potential. expanded ministry ... a vision ... the call ... the limited fulfillment we can attain here on earth. what a glorious thing it would be.
