goodbye, tie

for those of you wondering how the birthday present fiasco ended up, i got an email the other day regarding my order. the art institute shop said they were sending the correct item out that day at no extra charge (i should hope not) and that they agreed that my friend should not have to worry about shipping the wrong item back. they said they were issuing a "call tag" for the misdirected tie. what is this? does anyone know? please tell me what this is! i told my friend to tell them she'd already used the tie as a coaster or dustrag and maybe she would be able to keep it, too, since she liked it anyway. no word on what has transpired since the email.
